On December 12th, the Illinois Wesleyan University Women's Soccer team will host the 2020 Winter ID Camp. This one-day event is designed for players who have a serious interest in playing at Illinois Wesleyan. The camp will provide players with the opportunity to learn more about the culture of IWU Women’s Soccer and to showcase their talent and interact with our program in an intimate manner. Players will receive instruction from our coaching staff and befriend our players during two training sessions, which will highlight the technical and tactical elements that we emphasize in our daily training.
Along with the training sessions, the ID Camp participants will have the opportunity to play in small-sided games and compete in an 11v11 match. During the games, each student-athlete will receive instruction within the game to improve positional play and elevate their game to meet the demands of the college level.
Along with the training sessions, there will be an optional admissions session and tour with our players. Each camper will receive an Under Armour Locker T shirt.
Space is limited to 36 participants, which includes (32) field players and (4) goalkeepers. We will accept the first four (4) goalkeepers that register for the Camp. Goalkeepers will receive separate instruction from our staff and current goalkeepers during the two training sessions.
